Shalims Balti House was short listed in the British Curry Awards 2017 as one of the ‘Best In The South West’. The awards are now celebrating their 13th year promoting the curry industry.
The results were announced at a glittering V.I.P. black-tie gala dinner at the Battersea Evolution on Monday 27th November. The British Curry Awards are the biggest ceremony in the world of hospitality calendar and are the principal social and networking event for the industry. The event is considered to be the ‘Oscars’ of the industry and is broadcast to more than 200 countries around the world.
Shalim says “It was a honour to be shortlisted for this years British Curry awards, we have been working really hard over the last few years to make our restaurant one of the best in the country and this recognitions shows we are on the right track. There are many awards out their that are all prestigious in their own right but this is the one that everyone wants to win.”
